SO... in lieu of running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I am going to focus on one game at a time.
IT'S ABOUT TO BE A NEW MONTH!
What does that mean?
NEW GAMES ON PLAYSTATION PLUS!
I just looked and they haven't updated their games yet, but if you want to download Mutant Mudds Deluxe or PixelJunk™ Shooter Ultimate for PS Vita, today is probably your last chance! Same goes for Sly Cooper®: Thieves in Time for PS Vita/PS3 and NBA 2K14. Puppeteer and Remember Me are no longer available to download for free. *sadface*
Sly is a cross-buy, meaning that you can play it on your console and TV, then seamlessly transition to playing it on your Vita on the bus or walking to wherever you need to be (I think--correct me if I'm wrong.) I believe cross-buy also means that you only need to purchase the PS3 copy (or vice versa) to be able to play the game on your other system.
Also! If you're into the Sly Cooper series, you will be excited to know that there will be an animated feature coming in 2016, maybe sooner. Here is the trailer.
Anyways, I highly recommend Thieves in Time. A new studio took over the series and a lot of people out there who have played the other games in the Sly series (I have not) say that Sanzaru Studios pick up where Sucker Punch Productions left off. Sanzaru's previous work with the game includes porting all the PS2 games into HD PS3 greatness (Wikipedia).
The game is so fun to play that I've stopped playing everything else until I platinum it. A great source for trophy guides for almost any PS3 game is Playstation Trophies; I use this site extensively. Apparently, the users of the Playstation Trophies forum gave Thieves in Time a 4/10 difficulty, so not incredibly difficult to platinum. There is only one thing about the game that has annoyed me thus far and it is how hard and time-consuming the trophy, "Unexpected Package," is. For this trophy, you have to put 60 bombs in enemy pockets as Bentley the turtle and not all enemy pockets are created equally! What I mean is that some enemies already with a bomb on them will go crazy running around, making the second bomb super hard to land, if not impossible, making that enemy completely useless until it stops flailing about.
The easiest way is to use sleep ammo, then plant 5 bombs at once into the same enemy's pocket, boom, reload, repeat x12. This seems to be the quickest, but the bomb has to be on the enemy's pocket or else it won't count.
All I'm saying is that 60 seems a bit excessive, under the circumstances. There are better guides (seen above in yellow and video) to this where they explain easier ways of achieving this trophy than the way I'm going about it, but I'm stubborn and prefer getting the trophy out of the way when I want it out of the way.
I still get to keep RM and that game with puppets as long as my subscription stays active, so I am planning to review these games once I get to them. I am not satisfied with the review/preview I did for Puppeteer, so when I finish it, I will be updating that for you.
If you would like me to review them sooner, just shoot me a message or comment. I am also planning on starting a YouTube channel real soon as well.
